Hoʻohanu, with the support of Hawaiʻi Community Foundation, is honored to offer a series of wellness experiences exclusively for Maui First Responders.
These experiences have been thoughtfully designed to provide opportunities to step away from the demands of the job and reconnect with yourself, your fellow first responders, your loved ones, and the healing power of ʻāina.
Each event combines evidence-informed wellness practices with Hawaiian cultural knowledge and place-based experiences to support stress reduction, nervous system regulation, resilience, and overall wellbeing.
You are welcome to register for one event or as many as you'd like. Each experience offers something unique while complementing the others.
Spend the morning working alongside the Kīpuka ʻOlowalu ʻohana in their loʻi kalo while learning about traditional Hawaiian agriculture, mālama ʻāina, and the deep relationship between land, water, food, and wellbeing. This hands-on experience offers a meaningful opportunity to slow down, reconnect with nature, and build community through shared work and reflection.
